Design and planning is one of the most important aspects of renovations.  It seems like many companies’, in the industry, skips over or spends very little time with this component.  We are always in too much of a hurry to start the project.  At Design 2 Build, we have learned to devote a considerable amount of time to the design aspect.

When you hire Design 2 Build to design and build your renovation, you are hiring a operation that has very high minimum standards.  All of our trades people, regardless of how long they have been in the industry, are required to go through the Design 2 Build orientation program. This benfits our clients; it ensures the quality of workmanship is consistent throughout all our projects.

Since 1997, we have only ever had to honor our 2 year warranty on 1 occasion and it was minor- that we are proud of. 6) Referrals- We are proud of our work and will provide you with referrals that are new and a few years old. We do that because quality is not measured only by the finished product, but how long it lasts.

We include a 2-year workmanship guarantee in all our projects.   We are confident that we are going to do a great job for you the first time round. Clients may not be aware of why there is such a price discrepancy from one renovator to another- Design 2 Build never asks for more money once we start. We are competing with construction companies and/or individual persons who are building and have no minimum standards or go into a project with a really low price and the intention of making their profit on changes and/or extras to the contract. Be wary of terms such as “upgraded this, upgraded that”… you need to know exactly what that means.  Ask for samples so that you can understand the difference.

When a client initially contacts us, we give them a ball park figure of what the renovation will cost; this could range from $20,000 to $250,000.   There are many things to consider, but once we enter the design stage and work on the contract- the price includes everything- that's peace of mind!
